BOB K

Sound & Recording

Member Audio Engineering Society, Boston

Audio Perfectionist, Since a Toddler

BOB K started tinkering with audio right out of diapers, and hasn't stopped since.

While studying electronics at Chaffey Community College, Bob teamed up with Frank Zappa, to form Studio Z Recorders. He recorded Zappa and many Jazz greats, such as Anita O'Day and The Mothers of Invention. Next, he formed AudioCraft Recorders near LA, and recorded a series of musicians for 3 years. At that point, BOB focused his main career on a successful 45 year run in Broadcast Radio Management. He managed and programmed stations forCBS, ABC and other groups, in Los Angeles, Seattle, Denver, Chicago, Philadelphia and Boston. But, Bob's passion for Live Audio and Recording never left, and now he's back.
